Spring is finally here! The more I look around, the more I can see ideas in nature, waiting to be recreated with leather.
I was fortunate enough to visit The Mall Galleries near Trafalgar Square last week.
They currently have an annual exhibition from the Royal Society of British Artists. Many of these beautiful pieces of art were inspired by nature.
I then made my way to The National Gallery, past the Blue Cockerel on the fourth plinth, which is currently showing two sunflower paintings by Van Gogh, side by side. I would highly recommend a visit to view these pieces of art and to see the processes Van Gogh employed to create his work.
These images of flowers from my garden could lead to many exciting leather flower work: watch this space!
